Kevin Charles McKeigan

The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown on Sunday, June 9, 2024 of Kevin Charles McKeigan, aged 73, beloved husband of Dorothy (Ballum) McKeigan. Born in Charlottetown on December 17, 1950, son of Charles and Frances (Hennessey) McKeigan. Kevin was the proud owner/operator of Capital Electric and Communications for over 25 years.

Beloved father to his precious Ellen (Matthew Gorveatt), Charlottetown; loving and proud grandfather to Isaac, Benjamin and Jack.

Kevin is survived by his sisters, Sandra (Jim) Mills, Carolyn (Ron) Blakney, Claudia (Harvey) MacDonald, Florence (Carl) Trainor, and Anne (Mike) Proud.  Also survived by in-laws Norman (Anita) Ballum, Donald (Carolyn) Ballum, Lousie Ballum, Sharon (Stanley) Yeo, Mary (Mike) Morrison, Vivian Ballum, Shirley (Chester-dec) Noye, Gloria (George) MacCaull, Cathy (Kevin) MacDougall, Edith (Ian) MacDougall, Michael (Kim) Ballum, and Richard (Tracey) Ballum. Kevin is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Kevin was predeceased by his parents, father and mother-in-law Clayton and Eva Ballum, infant brother John, nephew Jeff MacDonald, sister-in-law Mary Ballum, and brother-in-law Chester Noye.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, where visitation will take place on Friday, June 14th from 1:00-3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:15 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The service may be viewed by clicking on the following livestream link Livestream.
