It is with heavy hearts, the family of Kim Marie Beer (nee MacDonald) announces her passing on July 2, 2025, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, age 63 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 37 years, but together for 44 years, Ted Beer.  Cherished mom to Nicole (Wade), Cody, and Samantha. She will be sadly missed by her loyal companion Sadie-Roo.

Kim was born and raised in Charlottetown on December 17th, 1961, to mother Peggy MacDonald and the late Donald MacDonald.  Also predeceased by her father and mother-in-law, Ted and Doris Beer.

Survived by her siblings Kathy MacDougall (Gordon), Kent (Joyce), Ronnie, Wade (Samantha), Blaine, Krista Chisholm (Marc) as well as many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law Steven Beer and sisters-in-law Michelle Rogerson(Barry), and Karen Beer.

The family would like to offer their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for the loving care she received. A special thank you to Kim's lifelong friends Cheryl, Shelley, and Brenda for always being there for mom and for us as a family.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held. Donations in her memory can be made to the Fitzroy Centre.
