Leonard (Len) Kelly Obituary

Leonard “Len” Clarence Kelly, 91, loving husband of the late Mae Clara (Quinn) Kelly, passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Born in Kellys Cross, PE on July 9, 1932, he was the son of the late Joseph and Loretta (Monaghan) Kelly. In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he was predeceased by his son Jerry (Bev, dec), brothers Francis and Justin, and sisters Eileen Penwell and Mary Monaghan.

Len is survived by his children Lennie (Judy), Jim (Roberta), Michael (Mary Ellen), Darlene, Judy, Brent (Bernadette) and Paul; brother Joe (Evelyn); sisters Edith Costello (Leo, dec), Pauline Doyle (Pat, dec) and Patricia Molyneaux (Leroy, dec); 21 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Len worked as a Truck Driver for various companies over the years, he retired as a mechanic. He was an avid hockey fan. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on Friday, July 5th from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from St. Pius X Church on Saturday, July 6th at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be in St. Malachy’s Parish Cemetery, followed by a tea/coffee reception at 5 Somerset Street, Kinkora.

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Len may be made to My Biggest Fan Foundation or to a charity of choice.
