Linda Lou (Friars) Chappell

With her loving family by her side, we are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of Linda Lou Chappell, 77 of Charlottetown at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on August 22, 2023, following a brief illness. 

Linda is survived by her lifetime love and husband of 47 years Arnold Chappell and her daughter Michelle (Keir) Gunn and treasured grandson Griffin Gunn of Charlottetown.  She is also survived by her beloved sister, Pat (Jim) Watters of Sussex, NB; her stepdaughter, Elizabeth (Scott) Butcher of Shelburne Ontario; brother-in-law, Mac Wallace of St. John NB; as well as numerous step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Aside from her parents, Frank and Irene Friars, she was predeceased by her sister Glenn Wallace and stepson Dean Chappell.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where visitation will be held on Friday, August 25th from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 26th at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers and in Linda’s memory, donations to Queen’s County Residential Services are gratefully appreciated.
