It is with heavy hearts, the family of Lori Lee Dawn (McClintick) Gillis, wife of Ralph Scott Gillis, of North River, announces her passing which occurred on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Charlottetown, PE she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ann (Jenkins) McClintick. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother R.D. McClintick and her beloved cat, Wild Thing.
In addition to her devoted husband of 25 years, Ralph she is survived by her children Rae Ann MacDonald (Aaron), Jarret MacDonald (Ellie), Roberta MacDonald and Scott Gillis; step son Daniel Gillis (Mikaela); cherished grandchildren Connor, Devin, Brianna, Harrison, Charlie, Ana and Ronan; sister Cheryll Rogers (Roy, dec.); sister-in-law Mona McClintick; mother-in-law Nicki Gillis MacLeod; brother-in-law David Gillis (Mary, dec.), sister-in-law Anne Penney and several nieces and nephews.
Lori was known for her outgoing personality. She loved music, her cats, collecting pigs and snowman figurines. She was devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
The family would like thank Dr. Stephanie Bell and the doctors and staff of the intensive care unit and the QEH.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on Friday, March 6 from 4-7 p.m. Her funeral service will be held from the chapel on Saturday, March 7 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Peoples Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the PEI Humane Society.
