After a life well lived, with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lorraine Marjorie (MacQuarrie) Wheatley, loving wife of the late William Wheatley, on May 28, 2024 at the Mount Continuing Care Community in her 93rdyear.  

Lorraine was born in North Winsloe, PE, daughter of the late Bruce and Mary Anne MacQuarrie, and was predeceased by 12 siblings.

She is survived by her sister, Gracie Rogers, her sisters-in-law, Florence MacQuarrie and Hilda MacQuarrie, and her children: Pearle (Bob) MacCallum, Jane (Vernon) Peters, Sheldon (Donalda) Wheatley, Jessie Wheatley (Caroline Runyon) and Ross (Maureen) Wheatley; her cherished grandchildren: Angela, Chad (Sheena), Sarah, Patti (Greg), Kerri (Derek), Amy (Jonathan), Innis, Laura and Sam; her great-grandchildren: Alex (Stephanie), Stone, Delaynie Jane (Jordan), Jaxson, Willow, Autumn, Sierra, Adrian, Lori Anne, Malcolm, Caleb, Jamie, Kinley, Nate, Iris and Isabella; and 3 great-great grandchildren: Ellie, Kathryn & Elise.

Lorraine enjoyed life and spent many happy hours playing cards, fishing, golfing, bowling, travelling, and selling her beautiful flowers.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, from where her funeral service will be held on June 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel.  No Visitation.  Interment will take place in Sherwood Cemetery.
