Lowell Duncan Jones

After a life well-lived and a hard-fought battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that the family of Lowell Duncan Jones of Pleasant Grove, announces his peaceful passing at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the age of 67.

Lowell was surrounded by family, with the Leafs’ game on in the background at the time he passed.

He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his children Benjamin (Claire) and Julie (Anthony), both of Charlottetown and their mother Janet (nee Corrigan) of Pleasant Grove, as well as his brother Ronald (Carol) of Saint John, NB, his sister Bonnie May (Roger) of Charlottetown and many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Lowell was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Fern (nee Grassick) Jones. He was kind and patient and will be remembered for his wit and incredible sense of humor. He enjoyed bonfires, Stephen King books and golfing. He loved his dogs, his cars, his friends and most of all his family.

Visitation will be held at the Belvedere Funeral Home on April 6, 2024 from 4 pm -7pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lowell’s memory to the PEI Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
