Madeline Mary (King) Power

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Madeline Mary (King) Power announces her peaceful passing which occurred on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Born in St. Mary’s, NL on October 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Anne (Careen) King. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Power and her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children John Power (Joy), Beverly MacEachern (Thane) and Kim Pollard (Phillip); grandchildren Jody Power, Brad Power, Justin Pollard (Katie), Kelsey Ferguson (Tyler), Josh MacEachern (Robyn), Cole MacEachern (Amy) and Layne MacEachern (Adam); great grandchildren Mya, Jackson, Luke and Perry; sisters-in-law Sadie King, Myra King, Nellie Roberts, Madonna Wilkson and Anita Dyer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Madeline was a devoted and loving wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her family was most important in her life.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
