Margaret Peggy Angelina Fanning

Margaret “Peggy” Angelina Fanning, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Grand Tracadie, PE was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen M. (Caswell) Fanning.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Lois MacDonald.

She is survived by her siblings Linda, Judy, Glenn (Lana), Bev and brother-in-law Keith MacDonald; she is fondly remembered by her nephews and nieces, Shawna (Sebastian), Sophie, Steven (Jennifer), Sullivan, Sage, Jason (Lee), Paige, Lindsey (Waseem), Alayia, Adam, Dustin, Carter (Allison) and Mallory (Ben).

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on Sunday, July 27 from 2-4 p.m. Her funeral service will take place on Monday, July 28 at 2 p.m. in the Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Suffolk Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Pat and the Elephant or the charity of choice.
