Margaret (Peggy) Christina (Poole) Rogers

With heavy hearts we announce the death of Margaret (Peggy) Christina Rogers born in Roseneath on May 2,1936. Surrounded by family Mom passed peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on August 5, 2024 at the young age of 88.

Predeceased by her parents Ernie and Peggy Poole and infant daughter Linda Darlene Rogers, she is survived by brothers Ernie Poole (Diane) and David Poole (Leslee) as well as nieces and a nephew.

Dear mother of Sharon Stewart (Paul-deceased), Robert Rogers (Paula) and Allen Rogers. Mom loved being Grammy to her grandchildren and GiGi to her great grandchildren.  Being a retired nurse from Kings County Memorial Hospital enabled our Mom to tell many stories of how things used to be, and she loved having an audience to do just that!

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, there will be no visitation or funeral at Mom’s request. We will be spreading her ashes at a spot special to her.

If so desired, donations in Mom’s memory may be made to the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
