Marjorie Edith Silliker

With heavy hearts and appreciation for a life well lived, the family of Marjorie Edith (Betts) Silliker, announces her peaceful passing, which occurred on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at the Atlantic Baptist Home. Born in Glenwood, PE on July 24, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Lorne and Eleanor (Ellis) Betts. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Robert Silliker, her daughters Gloria Dennis and Darlene Delong, her sisters Mabel Tower (Hedley), Shirley Matthews (Erskine), Bertie Gillcash (Lee) and Thelma Sweet; granddaughter Melissa Lank.

She is survived by her children Gayle Frizzell (Sid Lunn), Wade Silliker (Susan), Cindy Schurman, Gennine Silliker (Dave), son-in-law Robert Delong; mother-in-law of Alfred Dennis (Marlene). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. The family invite you to a celebration of life which will be held at Burnside Presbyterian Church on Monday, September 2nd, 2024 at 11 a.m.

Interment to take place in Peoples Cemetery, Mount Royal, PE at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marjorie may be made to Peoples Cemetery Mount Royal.
