Mary Anne Gallant

The death occurred peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 of Mary Anne Gallant of Charlottetown, age 83 years. Mary Anne was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Wilfred “Bobby” Gallant, as well as her son Alan.

Mary Anne was born on January 1, 1942 to the late Albert and Dorothy (nee Furlotte) Savoie.  

She is survived by her children, Mary Lynn and James (Rhonda); daughter-in-law, Jolene; grandchildren, Tommy (Dana), Coady (Candice), Joshua (Renee), Eryn (Zach), Grady, Neila, Tyler and Trevor; her siblings, Noella (Bert-deceased), Vincent, Sylvia (James), Norman (Leona-deceased), Lucille (Fred-deceased), Alice (Wayne-deceased), Linda (Lloyd-deceased), Bobby (Pauline), and Joanne (Mario); her sister-in law, Linda; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents and son, she was predeceased by her siblings, Albert, Melvin, and Gerald. 

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on January 9th at 11:00am.  at St. Mary’s Church in Souris with interment in the church cemetery.
