Mary Bertha McTague

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mary Bertha McTague, wife of the late James McTague, announces her passing which occurred on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Kildare, PEI on March 29, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Evelyn (Cahill) Morrison.  

She will be missed by her loving children Anne and Michael (Melissa) as well as her grandchild Hunter (Nadine).  Mary is survived by her siblings Jim Morrison and Betty (Tom) McGrattan. She was predeceased by her daughter Maureen, siblings John Morrison, Bill Morrison and Margaret Wiebe as well sisters-in-law Barbara Morrison, Lynn Morrison and Joyce McTague.

Arrangements are under the care of Belvedere Funeral Home.

Visitation will occur at Belvedere Funeral Home on Tuesday September 5, 2023, from 6-8 P.M. A funeral service will be held at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, on Wednesday September 6, 2023 starting at 10:30 A.M., with a reception to follow at Belvedere Funeral Home Reception Center.

Donations in memory of Mary can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of PEI.
