Mary Cloran Richard

It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Mary C. Richard at Andrews of Stratford, PEI, in her 101st year.

Mary made her home over the years in Dartmouth, NS, and across Prince Edward Island, in Cardigan, Grandview, and Parkdale, before settling at Andrews of Stratford.

Mary had a lifelong love of music, dancing, and travel. A regular at ceilidhs in PEI and Cape Breton, she could always be found in the front row enjoying her favourite entertainers.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, John Cecil Richard, as well as her brothers Monty, Alex, Lloyd, Alfred, and sisters Anne and Mary Theresa. She will be missed by Preston MacLeod as well as several nieces and nephews.

No visitation by personal request. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 22 at 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Parish. A private burial will be held after the service.
