Mary Elizabeth Sherren

It is with heavy hearts the family of Mary Elizabeth Sherren, loving wife of Alfred William Sherren announces her passing, which occurred on Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Charlottetown, PE on August 30, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Verna (Ford) Hyde. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Laura Lund (Ollie), Norma Murray and Ambrose Hyde (Faye).

In addition to her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, Al, she is survived by her daughter Penny Newman (Boyd), grandchildren Sarah Newman, Holly Gorveatt (Glen) and Alana Newman (Kyle), great grandchildren Jessa, Ethan, Amelia and Aspyn, brothers Jim Hyde (Anne) and Jack Hyde, brother-in-law Edward Murray, several nieces and nephews.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where a celebration of life service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in the Hyde Crosby Cemetery, Meadowbank. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to Hyde Crosby Cemetery.
