Mary "Betty" Elizabeth (Cole) Auld

Surrounded by her loving family, Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Cole) Auld, passed peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Atlantic Baptist Home.

Born in Stanley Bridge, PE, on October 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late George and Marion (MacLean) Cole. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Douglas Cole (Harriet) and Duncan Cole (Laura).

Betty is survived by her husband of 67 years, Athol, her daughters Karen Pulsifer (Randy), Janet Monaghan (Ronnie) and Darlene Auld (Jacques Beaulieu); grandchildren Drew McGuigan (Lynsay) and Carlye Monaghan; brother Bill Cole (Phyllis) and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She worked for years alongside her husband running their business. She was very active at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, serving as Elder for many years and member of the Silver Bells and the Women’s Group.

Interment will take place in Sherwood Cemetery.
