Miriam Elizabeth Burke - Langille

Surrounded by her loving family, the death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on Monday, July 7, 2025 of Miriam “Mim” Burke-Langille in her 92nd year. Dear mother of Heather Coakwell, Reid Burke (Janice), Charles Burke (Darryl) and Vicki Burke-Macgowan (Don).  Loving grandmother of Vance Smith, Kyle Burke, Chad Coakwell, David Burke, Melissa Burke, Ben Burke, Danielle Burke and Kory Drake. Great grandmother of Keegan Smith and Sophie Burke. Also survived by her sisters Doris Miller and Marjorie Balderson. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Eliza (Court) Reid, her husbands David Burke and Bryan Langille, great grandchildren Samuel MacDonald and Nora Burke, siblings Lorretta, Edna, Frances, Ella, Evelyn, Opal, Mary and Albert. Resting at the Belvedere Funeral Home, where a Celebration of Life will be held in the Belvedere reception centre on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5 to 7 pm. The family would like to give thanks and special recognition to the staff of the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home for their kindness and care. If so desired, memorials to the Alzheimers Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
