Paula (Peggy) Margaret Connolly

Surrounded by the love of her family and with an appreciation for a life well lived, the death of Paula Margaret (Peggy) Connolly occurred on March 4th, 2025 at the Queen Elizabeth hospital at the age of 81 years.  Beloved wife of Allan (Postie) Connolly.

Dear mother of Tim (Caroline Cudmore), Andrew (Cristina Fajardo), Phil (Amanda) Connolly. Loving grandmother of Owen, Alex, Liam, Jacob, Avery, & Bennett.

Dear sister of, Clive (Marnie), Nancy (Henry), & Ruth. Predeceased by her parents Cyril & Euphemia (McGowan) Johnston.

Peggy dedicated her life to helping others. She provided care to Islanders as a public health nurse, where her work with schools and the general public was exemplary and considerate. She extended her caring nature to her most important role, as a mother and grandmother.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a visitation will be held on Friday March 7th 4-7pm

A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 2pm. Following the service, all are invited to join the family to celebrate the life of Peggy in the Belvedere Funeral Home Reception Centre. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Peggy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
