Pearl Louise Hartley

It is with heavy hearts the family of Pearl Louise Hartley, in her 83rd year, announces her passing which occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Born in Long Island, Bahamas on December 12, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Catherine (Martinborogh) Knowles. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Herbert Hartley in 2018; daughter-in-law Ann Darville; son-in-law Allen MacDonald; and siblings Kevin Knowles, William Knowles and Violet Albury.

She is survived by her loving children Andre, Charlene, Laura and Russ; cherished grandchildren Anson, Chantel, Andrew, Carlos, Cecile, Angel, Chantea, Andrea, Miguel and MyKayla; 15 great grandchildren; siblings in the Bahamas Corene, Eva, Essie, Stella, Neta, Diane and Mack; many nieces and nephews.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held from Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. A private family interment will take place in St. Martin of Tours & St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Cumberland  at a later date. Remembrances in memory of Pearl may be made to the Kingdom Hall, Stratford.
