Peter Visser

The death occurred peacefully at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday November 30, 2024, of Peter Visser, age 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Roelofje Visser (nee Pelgrum) and loving father of son Melis Visser - deceased (Juanita); Linda Murphy (Travis), Nellie Van Laare (Brad), Philip Visser (Lori), Deborah Vreugdenhil (Derek) and Justin Visser (Missy). Opa is also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Kristyn Visser-Perkin (Wray), Zachary Visser, Alana Murphy, Sarah Murphy – deceased , Tynan Murphy, Chloe Murphy, Courtney Van Laare (Curtis),  Tessa Doezema (Jared), Kaitlyn Van Laare, Brandon Hughes (Julie Ann), Hunter Visser, Noah Visser, Frank Vreugdenhil, Talia Vreugdenhil, Ben Vreugdenhil, Sophie Vreugdenhil, James Visser, Landon Visser and Claire Visser; great-grandchild Lucy Doezema; sisters Adriana Visser (Martin – deceased), Willie Hamming (Bram);  brothers Kees Visser - deceased (Ellen), Gerard Visser – deceased  (Mary), John Visser (Michelle), Henk Visser (Catherine); sisters-in-law Grada Klein Bramel – deceased (Anton – deceased), Johanna Enserink – deceased (Tony – deceased), Gerrie Wilgenhof (Tonni - deceased),  Us Hofstee – deceased  (Wim); brothers-in-law Gerrit Pelgrum – deceased (Gerrie),  Wim Pelgrum – deceased (Bertie) , Hendrick Lenderink (Dinie) and Herman Lenderink (Hermien), and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Melis and Cornelia Visser of ‘s-Gravendeel, the Netherlands. 

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home with visitation on Sunday December 8th, from 2-4pm. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Monday December 9th at Charlottetown Christian Reformed Church at 10:30am. This service will be livestreamed on the church's Youtube page here Christian Reformed Church Youtube Page.
