Robert Stanley Hayes

Robert Stanley Hayes of Charlottetown passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, at the age of 68 years.

Robert was born on March 5, 1957, to Stanley (deceased) and Mary (nee Yeadon) Hayes.

He is survived by his brother, Douglas (Suzanne) and sister, Nancy Smith.

In addition to his father, Robert was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Ivan Smith. Beloved uncle to Jason, Pamela, Caitlin and Liam. 

Robert worked and lived on the island and attended the Amherst School for the Deaf in Nova Scotia. Newly retired, he worked as an IT specialist and most recently spent time with the Charlottetown Food Bank.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. There will be no visitation or funeral service by personal request. Interment will take place in the Sherwood Cemetery on Tuesday, June 24th at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Charlottetown Food Bank.
