Robert E. Marshall

Robert E. Marshall (1942-2025) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Edward Marshall on Sunday, November 16,2025 at home at the age of 83 years. 

Robert was born in St. Jean-sur-la-Richelieu, Quebec on May 9, 1942 to the late Dennis Marshall and Rhoda (nee Boone) Marshall.  He was proud to have served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a careered Warrant Officer in the Navy. 

Robert always had an interesting fact, trivia, or stories to share of having travelled the world with the Navy.   He was known for his sense of humour, generosity, kindness and integrity.  He will be dearly missed by his wife Marion, children, granddaughters, friends and colleagues. 

Survived by his daughter Kelly Pottle (Kent), sons Richard Marshall (Van Nguyen), Kevin Beebe (France Viger) and granddaughters Xuan Nguyen-Marshall, Sophie Pottle and Emmy Beebe-Viger. Survived by his sister Barbara Poizer and predeceased by his brothers Michael (Norma) and Harold (Pat).

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, a visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22 from 3 till 5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Robert may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
