It is with heavy hearts, the family of Ruby Marina Keating, wife of the late John Paul Deraspe, announces her passing which occurred on Sunday, March 2, 2025. 

Born on the Magdalen Islands (Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine), on August 8, 1935, she was the daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Quinn) Keating. 

She is survived by her children Wendy Whittleton (Shaun) and Andrew Goodwin (Lynn); grandchildren Roughan, Keagan and Alexandria and four great grandchildren. 

A private family service will take place on the Magdalen Islands at a later date.
