Scott Douglas Andrew

It is with heavy hearts the family and friends of Scott Douglas Andrew announces his passing which occurred on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Atlantic Baptist Home. Born in Charlottetown, PE on April 29, 1965, he was the son of the late David and Lois (Foster) Andrew.

He was the brother of Ian, survived by best friend Randy Holmes and many friends.

Scotty lived at St. Peter’s Group Home for over 20 years. He was a well known staff at Wendy’s on Grafton for over 30 years. He was an avid hockey fan and had season tickets for the PEI Rocket Junior Hockey and Charlottetown Islanders. He was a member of the PEI Special Olympics participating in Speed Skating and Floor Hockey. Scott lived a very happy and active life. A special thank you to staff and clients of St. Peter’s Group Home who supported Scott in living his best life. Also thank you to Atlantic Baptist Home for being there for him in his final months.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where a funeral service will be held on Monday, October 23 at 2 p.m. followed by an interment at the People’s Cemetery. Donations in memory of Scotty may be made to St. Peter’s Group Home or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
