Shawna Mary Carmody

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Shawna Carmody (nee Hynes), age 70, of Stanley Bridge (formerly of Charlottetown). Survived by her children Danny Carmody and Lisa Carmody Doiron (Shawn).  Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Reese Carmody and Gabe and Kieran Doiron. 

Shawna is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Marilyn Hartlen (Donald-deceased), Elaine Reeves (Ronnie-deceased), Lynn Gorveatt (Dale-deceased), Donald Hynes (Marylou), and her partner James Andrew. 

Predeceased by her parents, Clifford and Mary Hynes, her siblings Roberta Lannigan (Neil), Ken Hynes (Carole), and Clifford Hynes. Also predeceased by her first husband David Carmody. 

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where a visitation will occur on Wednesday January 8th from 4:00-7:00pm.  Shawna's funeral service will be Thursday January 9th at 10:30 am in the Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel.  A reception will follow the funeral service  in the Belvedere Funeral Home Reception Centre.
