It is with heavy hearts the family of Sheila Nathalie (Doyle) Griffin, loving wife of Everett Griffin, announces her peaceful passing which occurred on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, following a brief illness. Born in Glengarry, PE on November 11, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Ada (Griffin) Doyle. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings Dean Doyle, Joe Doyle (Janie) and Gail Kirchoeffel (Sigmund).
In addition to her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Everett, she is survived by her sons Corey Griffin (Angela-Jo), Chad Griffin (Erin) and Chris Griffin (Tina); her cherished grandchildren Keira, Anna, Kennedy, Caitlyn, Kinsley, Allie and Connor; her siblings Franklin Doyle (Elaine), Linda LeFavre (Jack), Stephanie Smith (David, dec.), Dale Doyle and Cathy Hughes (Paul) as well as several nieces and nephews.
Sheila was an active member of the CWL for 53 years. Faith was always a central part of who Sheila was. She was a very caring person and loved to look after people, she had a very rewarding career first as a school teacher and then working as a personal care worker for many years. Sheila loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on Thursday, October 16 from 4 – 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Anne’s Church, Emyvale on Friday, October 17 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a burial in the church cemetery.
