Surrounded by the love of her family and with an appreciation for a life well lived, the death of Stacey Audrey O’Connor occurred on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Garden Home at the age of 54 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Shane O’Connor.
Stacey was born on August 12, 1970 to Everett Raynor and Joan Cassidy (nee Birt).
She will be dearly missed by her loving children, Mitchell O’Connor (Katie) and Cori O’Connor.
Stacey leaves behind her adored grandchildren, Kyla Coolen-O’Connor and Deegan O’Connor.
She is survived by her siblings, Gina Beaton, Stacey Gallant (Wade), Tanya Birt (Howard), Dean Raynor, Adam Cassidy (Melissa), Nicole Mallard (Shane); stepbrothers, John MacIsaac, Joseph MacIsaac (deceased), and Mark MacIsaac; and nieces and nephews.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home where a visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st from 4-7 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd at 10 a.m. at Sherwood Christian Church. Interment to follow in the Covehead Cemetery. All are then invited to join the family for a time of food and fellowship in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Stacey may be made to the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre (through the QEH Foundation) or Canoe Cove Christian Camp.
