Stanley Allister Ferguson

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley Allister Ferguson, age 77 years at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, NS on Tuesday October 22nd, 2024.  Beloved husband of Beth (nee Newman) and father of Shaun (Jessica McMullen) and Jamie (April).  Also survived by five loving grandchildren, Stuart, Martha, Timothy, Heath and Miles; his siblings, Mervyn (Shirley), Jeanne (Alan) MacGregor, Sheila, Owen, Jo-Ann (Dana) Chase.

Predeceased by his parents, Allister and Reta (nee Barnhill).

Dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for 37 years, including two tours with the Musical Ride.

Active member of the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty.

Devoted volunteer with Gifts from the Heart, Meals on Wheels PEI and the breakfast program at St. Jean Elementary School.

A family service will be held in Belmont, NS.

A casual drop in reception will be held in the Belvedere Funeral Home Reception Centre, in Charlottetown, PEI on Wednesday, October 30th from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Gifts from the Heart, Meals on Wheels PEI or a charity of choice.
