Turi Wheaton Fast

Turi Wheaton Fast passed suddenly on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Born in Thompson, MB on December 1, 1999, he is the son of Sheryl Ann (McLean) Fast and Freddy Fast.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandfather Roy Edward McLean, Grandmother, Aganeta Fast; siblings Senna Fast, Trustim Fast, Chaeli Fast and Gracie Fast, many cousins and his Merchant man friends. Turi was predeceased by Grandmother, Jane Tenass and Grandfather, Arthur Fast.

Turi lived several years in Nunavut before moving to PEI. He was a talented cook and was currently employed at the Merchant Man.

He was a member of the Metepenagiag First Nation. Turi loved cooking, rock music and playing the guitar. He had a very kind heart. There will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice.
