The death occurred peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Nursing Home on October 18, 2025 of Veda I. Bishop aged 98 years. Beloved wife of Stanley Bishop and the late Ivan Morrow. She is survived by her stepdaughter Beverly Bishop (Bob Racette) and her stepson Dr. Graham Bishop (Helena); special Nanny to step grandchildren Devon, Clint, Eric, Amanda, Melanie, Matthew and Alex; great grandchildren Kai, Ellie, Jack, Rosie and Charlie. Veda is also survived by several special nieces and nephews and their spouses; sisters-in-law Edith (Morrow)Lucy (Gordon, dec.) and Celaris(Morrow) Griffin. She was predeceased by her parents Lettie (Ford) and Harold MacDonald and by her brothers Harvey and Keir and by her sister Aletha.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 1 - 3 pm followed by her funeral in the funeral home chapel. Interment will immediately follow in Sherwood Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Spring Park United Church.
