Walter "Vernon" Robinson

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with family on Friday, April 5th, 2024 of Walter Vernon Robinson of Cornwall, PE, age 91 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Wanda (Willis) Robinson and his parents Archibald (Archie) Robinson and Olive (Wood) Robinson.

Dear father of Donnie Robinson (Joan), Dianne MacDonald-Robinson and Dale Robinson.

Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Lyle, Stacey, Brodie, Lori, Justin, Whitney, Ashley, Alexia and 15 great-grandchildren.

Brother of Carl Robinson (Esther), Hazel McAssey (Lionel), Marion Gallant (Danny) Gallant, Elaine McCormick (David); brother-in-law of Carl Willis (Gayle) and Annie Wood (Allister, deceased); and uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by brothers Allister Wood, Wendell (Edna) Robinson, Garth (Beulah) Robinson and Jackie Robinson.

Devoted long time friends and camping buddies Marilyn (Ivan, deceased), Brenda and Dwayne Hughes, Kathy MacDougall and furry friend Zoey.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home. No visitation by personal request. A private funeral service will be held, and private interment will take place in Searletown Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if desired, memorial donations may be made to the PEI Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Special thanks to Dr. Thompson, Dr. Costa, Dr. Grant and to all the staff who have provided excellent care and compassion to Vernon at the QEH Emergency Dept, ICU, Unit 2, Unit 8 and the Garden Home especially the past four months. Please know how much this was appreciated by Vernon and his Family.
