Wendell Erskine Mill

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Wendell Erskine Mill, age 94 years, of Stratford, PEI, loving husband of 60 years to the late Eliza Charlotte (Baker) Mill, announces his peaceful passing which occurred on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre. Born in Clermont, PEI on June 12, 1930, he was the son of the late Walter and Margaret (Reeves) Mill. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his siblings Willis, Willard, and Roma Marie.

He is survived by his daughters Carolyn Villard (Cecil) and Wendy Inglis (John), cherished step-grandchildren Candice and Cody (Danielle Suchan); sister Shirley Waugh (Errol); nephews Wayne Waugh (deceased) and Lyle Waugh (Carrie Campbell); and loving companion Joyce Dixon.

Wendell worked for Canada Packers in various positions for 47 years. When he retired, he enjoyed gardening, bowling, playing horseshoe, cards, skating, watching hockey and spending time with his family.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, with visitation on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. His funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 11 a.m. This service will be livestreamed and may be viewed by clicking on the following link Livestream.
