William Douglas "Doug" MacEwen

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William Douglas (Doug) MacEwen on Sunday, February 9th, 2025 at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague, at the age of 83 years.

Doug was predeceased by his wife, Cynthia (nee Cudmore) MacEwen. 

Doug was born on June 22nd, 1941 to the late Horace and Lola (nee Douglas) MacEwen

He leaves behind his son, Gordon MacEwen (Janice) and stepdaughter, Denise Graves (Harvey).

He will be missed by his grandchildren, Connor and Logan and his step-grandchildren, Venessa, David and Tyler. 

Cherished brother of Dorothy (Doug – dec) Kitson and Kathy  (Chris) Jones.

Dear uncle of Graham Kitson (dec) and Hillary and Bailey Jones. 

Interment will take place in the Mount Stewart People’s Cemetery at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doug may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of PEI.
