Yvonne Marie (McInnis) MacDonald

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Yvonne Marie (McInnis) MacDonald, loving wife of Jeffery MacDonald, announces her passing which occurred on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Born in Charlottetown, PE on November 8, 1967, she is the daughter of Bruce and Lorriane (Doucette) McInnis.

In addition to her parents and husband Jeff of 39 years, she is survived by her children Jeffery MacDonald (Jessica Simon) and Desiree MacDonald (Kevin King ); cherished grandchildren Alexander, Ariella, Auley and Magnolia; her very special companion Daisy; siblings Deborah Dunphy (Foch) and Bruceyene Collins (Matthew); father and mother-in-law Wendell and Pat (Jenkins) MacDonald; brother-in-law Chris MacDonald (Ashley); sister-in-law Megan MacDonald; nieces and nephews Angela, Chad, Joshua, Ashley, Sarah, Jess, Ben, Rowen, Regan, Raelin, Natalie, Nicole and Garrett. 

Yvonne was an avid animal lover with a generous heart helping animals across Canada however she could. She had a gift for interior design which finally culminated in her dream home by the beach. Her family was a bright light and source of happiness, and she cherished any time with them. Yvonne worked as an RCW and was particularly fond of caring for the elderly. She was a voracious reader and for a short time after leaving RCW work, worked at Indigo which was like a dream job for her. Yvonne always had a great sense of humor which she carried through to the end.

Yvonne’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those she loved, the spaces she transformed, and the many lives she touched along the way. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.

Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home, from where a celebration of life visitation will be held in Belvedere Reception Centre on Friday, July11 from 4-7 p.m.
