We recently used Belvedere Funeral Home for my father's death. They were so helpful, kind, and professional. They were quick at responding to communications about details for the wake and service and they went above and beyond to meet our requests. My family moved off the Island to Ontario almost 60 years ago. My Moms last wish was to go home. To be buried in the cemetery with her Mom, Dad and many of her brothers, sisters and their families. When Mom told us her wishes, I phoned Belvedere Funeral Home, Faye helped me with the details and gave me all the information I would need when the time came. My next call, several years later, was with Devon. I can’t say thank you enough Devon. You were able to get me through that initial call and were there with me every step of the way. With my family in the car to drive home to the Island, we continuously got updates regarding bringing Mom home from the wonderful staff. Upon arrival we met with Craig, Bill and David (on staff clergyman) and I mustn’t forget Oddie. Again, I can’t say Thank You enough. Craig Bill and David, the level of comfort and compassion you showed were extraordinary in such a sad and stressful time. The service was beautiful, David you captured the woman my Mom was. It was as if you had known her for all her life. Family and friends that watched via the livestream have commented about the service and the beautiful send off for our Mom.

I first met Paul and Bill in December of 2023, I was so impressed with the way in which you just felt so relieved that they were handling all the details of my father (Arthur) funeral arrangements.. As you can imagine , this is a very stressful time in my life and their compassion and caring were second to none … We checked other funeral homes when dad passed but Belvedere was by far the best choice in our case… I would not hesitate to use their services again if need be in the future ….
